Humor in op-ed articles

The main goal of this paper is to analyze the humor in different opinion articles published in the Spanish press by different authors and consequently, to resolve the differences in the use and treatment of humor.It starts from a double theoretical foundation: the characterization of opinion Military Socks articles as a genus of news discourse, and the conception of humor that provides the general theory of verbal humor.For this it has been collected a corpus of 80 articles reviewed, compilation respecting the basic criteria to be relevant, and used the humorous occurrences, both its linguistic description as its purpose in the discourse.The results show how it is used humor as not all use Hair Wrap the same way.
